Together Forever: Conjoined Twins Don’t Want To Be Separated

Conjoined twins Pin and Pan’s bond is so strong that they don’t want to be separated - even if it proved medically possible.
The seven-year-old sisters, from Thailand, were born with their own heads, torsos, and arms but are connected at the waist.

The duo share a pair of legs, with Pin having control of one and Pan controlling the other, and have learned to walk, dress, eat - and, incredibly, even ride a tricycle - as one.
The twins live in Nakhon Sawan, around 250km north of Bangkok, Thailand, with their grandparents - who describe them as “normal, happy” children
Their grandma, Noknoi Pongchumnan, said: “They love singing, eating ice cream, helping each other with dressing up and giggling together.”
Conjoined twins are very rare, occurring around once in every 2.5 million births - but Pin and Pan have mastered the art of walking around crab-like on their hands and feet and can even climb two flights of stairs without help.
For longer distances, they ride a pink tricycle, and at school, a teacher pushes them from building to building in a wheelchair.
The twins attend Nakhonsawanpunyanukul Special School for disadvantaged children, where they are popular with both students and staff.
The twins’ teachers and grandparents hope that their education will give them the skills to live an independent life in the future.

WATCH THE HAIRIEST GIRL IN THE WORLD..........

Love Story is romantic and funny yet tragic. It is the tale of two college students whose love enables them to overcome the adversities they encounter in life: Oliver Barrett IV, a Harvard jock and heir to the Barrett fortune and legacy, and Jennifer Cavilleri, the quick-witted daughter of a Rhode Island baker. Oliver (Ollie) was expected to assume control of his father's business empire, while Jennifer (Jenny), a music major studying at Radcliffe College planning to study in Paris. From very different worlds, Oliver and Jenny are immediately attracted to each other and their love deepens. The story of Jenny and Ollie is a story of two young people who come from two separate worlds and are joined together in the unlikeliest of ways.

Upon graduation from college, the two decide to marry, against the wishes of Oliver's father, who promptly severs all ties with his son. Without financial support, the couple struggles to pay Oliver's way through Harvard's Law School, with Jenny working as a private school teacher. Graduating third in his class, Oliver gets several job offers and takes up a position at a respectable New York law firm. Jenny promises to follow Oliver anywhere on the East Coast. The couple move to New York City, excited to spend more time together, rather than working and studying. With Oliver's new income, the pair decide to have a child. After Jenny fails to conceive, they consult a medical specialist, who after repeated tests, informs Oliver and Jenny that Jenny is suffering from leukemia and will not be able to live longer than a few months.

As instructed by his doctor, Oliver attempts to live a normal life without telling Jenny of her condition. Jenny nevertheless discovers her ailment after confronting her doctor about her recent illness. With their days together numbered, Jenny begins a costly cancer therapy, and Oliver soon becomes unable to afford the multiplying hospital expenses. Desperate, he seeks financial relief from his father. Instead of telling his father what the money is truly for, Oliver misleads him. From her hospital bed, Jenny speaks with her father about funeral arrangements, and then asks for Oliver. She tells him to avoid blaming himself, and asks him to embrace her tightly before she dies. When Mr.Barrett realizes that Jenny is ill and that his son borrowed the money for her, he immediately sets out for New York. By the time he reaches the hospital, Jenny dies. Mr. Barrett apologizes to his son, who replies with something Jenny had once told him: "Love means never having to say you're sorry..." and breaks down in his arms.

The initial review of the movie is not that good. One of the viewers told, “Apart from Rekha Thapa, there is nothing to watch it the movie.” He said, the movie is similar to her previous movies. Although the action is good, the story and the story telling style is same as her previous movies.
If you ask me – Based on the viewers’ comment, it is believed that the movie will be successful. That is because, the viewers of Rekha Thapa movies don’t go to theater for a good story, plot or cinematographic skills. They go to see Rekha Thapa, her actions and her dialogues. The movie has all of them! Rekha’s previous movies were also criticized for the similar things that are criticized in ‘Ram Pyari’.

Finally the trailer of most awaited Nepali film Rampyari is here!

SNAKE IN MOUTH.....WATCH AND DOWNLOAD THE VIDEO....

  • Snakes are deeply rooted in Nepalese culture and tradition. The snake has an important place as a divine power in Hindu and Buddhist traditions and features in the epics such as the Mahabharata. Hindu people worship the king of snakes (Nag) in the snake festival (Nagpanchami) that is celebrated in July in mid monsoon. They believe that by doing so snakebite can be avoided and rain will be assured for their crops. Colorful posters of snakes are pasted on the main door of the house and milk and money are offered to the priest and snake charmers to feed the snake. The fang of the snake is recognized as symbol of power and is featured on the throne of His Majesty the King. It is said that any one who wishes to harm the King, will be punished by the snake.
  • In a developing country like Nepal accurate data is very hard to obtain. Snake bite is a common event in many rural areas where transportation and medical facilities are grossly inadequate. Most of the trained health workers are urban based where snakebite is rare. Therefore faith healers play a major role in the treatment of snakebite. Death not infrequently occurs before the victim is brought to the hospital. Existing epidemiological data in Nepal are scarce and rely exclusively on hospital registrar analysis, which underestimates the true impact of snakebite in the community 5, 6,7,8,9,1011,12. According to report from Ministry of Health, Nepal, 497 snakebite cases were treated with anti snake venom (ASV) in 200113. However it does not include the cases treated by various NGO’s, Private sectors and army institutions. We carried out a hospital based survey in 10 hospitals in Eastern Nepal in the year of 200011. There were 4078 cases of snakebite (407/Hospital/Year) of who 379 had signs of envenomation. The CFR varied among the centre surveyed from as low as 2.82% to as high as 58% (Mean= 21.37%). Similarly high numbers of snakebite cases are reported of lately from Western Nepal12. In one hospital, 240 cases in one year were recorded of whom 37 of them had features of systemic envenomation. A baseline epidemiological study was conducted from1980 to 1985 in 15 district hospitals in collaboration with WHO14. During this period 3189 cases were treated. 144 victims died (CFR: 4.5%). It was estimated by WHO that more than 20,000 people are bitten by snake and one thousand die from snakebite each year in Nepal.
This blog has been created to alert people to the high incident of death by snake bite to the people of Nepal. It is hoped that as more people become aware of this situation, solutions will be found to reduce the number of deaths by snake bite to the Nepalese people
The dreaded Matabuey, a snake so fearsome its name means “ox killer,” has a deadly bite that immobilizes its prey in minutes, making it the kind of creature generally to be avoided.
But far from steering clear of the legless lizards, researchers at the world leading Clodomiro Picado institute in Costa Rica are avidly cultivating them, along with hundreds of equally-venomous vipers.
Scientists raise the deadly reptiles to harvest their venom, the key ingredient in the massive quantities of life-saving antivenom produced by the institute each year from some 800 snakes.

"Running: A Love Story" (Seal Press), by Jen A. Miller

File this book under "I was misinformed."

I came across a reference to the new book "Running: A Love Story" in New York magazine last month titled, "How Running and Meditation Change the Minds of the Depressed." As a grudging believer in a link between drive and depression, I was looking forward to something insightful, lyrical. Didn't have to be anything long.

Wrong. "Running: A Love Story" begins with a quote from Haruki Murakami's quite good "What I Talk About When I Talk About Running," but it drops immediately into what strikes me as chick lit. So, like, there was this guy and he broke my heart, but then I ran and I felt better, and then there was this other guy ... Oh, boy.

We need more good running books. I'm clearly not the only person who felt the overwhelming need during a dark time to lace up a pair of shoes, even with no running experience, and just go. Why this pain? Why is this other kind of pain so worth pursuing? What goes through our minds out there? Where are we even going?

"Running became a way for me to take back part of myself," Miller writes. From time to time in this book, she touches on struggles with weight control, with drinking. That material, combined, makes up a chapter or two at best.

Most of the book is unnecessary detail about races and relationships, including sentences like this one: "This was love, capital L-O-V-E, shimmering, bombastic, full-blown love, one that dusted us with rainbows and unicorns and gold foil stars." Or another paragraph saying simply, "Swoon."

But on completing her first marathon, a momentous event if any, she says little more than "I ran a marathon, and I never had to run one again."

If only Miller would have taken another path. Well into her book is her best sentence, a brief one: "Running is controlled falling." Go there, I thought. Explore that.

Seems we'll have to wait for someone else.

The social structure of elephants is complex, varying by gender, and population dynamics. Adult elephants form matriarchal (female-led) societies. Adult males are usually solitary.
Males
Adult male elephants are solitary in nature but may associate with other bulls (adult males) in small, unstable groups. Males will leave the family unit (natal unit) between 12 and 15 years of age.
Bulls that associate in small groupings have a hierarchal-ranking social structure. Leaders, determined by age and strength, protect the front and rear of the herd. More docile (quiet-natured) bulls do not seek leadership roles, but serve as stabilizing members within the group. Hierarchical roles are re-established and re-adjusted whenever a male leaves or enters the group.
Although primarily solitary in nature, bulls will associate with non-natal family units (family units to which they are not related). Bulls do not have preferences for specific family units and will randomly move to different groupings daily and even hourly looking for reproductively receptive females. The bulls' nomadic (wandering) social system allows them to maximize reproductive potential. With this system, a single bull can potentially find up to 30 mates in a year, as opposed to fathering four calves in three years, if he associates with only one family unit
Females
Female social structure is similar to concentric rings, with the innermost circle comprising a family unit of related adult cows (females). Family units range in size from three to 25 individuals; including the eldest, most dominant female called the matriarch, her adult daughters, and their calves, and a number of juveniles. From this stable core, the groupings widen to include less familiar individuals.

Two females from the same family unit share
bathing time together.

Matriarchs / Hierarchy Status
The oldest, most dominant female is called the matriarch. The matriarch is the backbone of the elephant family unit because she provides stability and determines ranging patterns for the rest of the family.
The other females comprising the family unit are usually the matriarch's daughters and their offspring. The hierarchal ranking for these females is based on leadership, experience, and age. Generally, the older the female, the higher her ranking.
The primary function of elephant family units is the protection and rearing of calves. Adult females cooperate in the assistance of calf movements, foraging, protection, and social experiences. Calf survivability greatly increases with an increased number of females taking care of them.
Elephant family units may have consistent, friendly interactions with other units. These associated families are called kin or bond groups and will mingle, feed, and interact with one another frequently. Bond groups may be composed of unrelated females or of related.
Under ideal environmental circumstances, family units may congregate in groups of up to six families. Occasionally, there may be herd aggregations ranging in size from 500 to 1,000 individuals around watering holes and other consolidated resources. Herd aggregations have also been documented in areas of intense poaching (illegal hunting) pressure.
Large congregations of elephants occur more frequently with African elephants than Asian. In regions with less food, smaller elephant family units are found. In regions with abundant food, larger social groups are formed.

MAHA BHUKAMPA AAYEKO PANI AAJA 1 YEAR VAYO ......BAD DAY FOR NEPALI

The book of Major General Brahma Shamsher Nepalko Maha Bhukampa 1990[Kathmandu, 1935] presents graphic accounts of the great earthquake of 1934. This earthquake was not only powerful, but also the most destructive of all the earthquakes in the living memory of Nepal.
As Nepal is in the seismic zone, earthquakes are not uncommon in this land. The earthquake of June 7, 1255, which is regarded as the first recorded earthquake in the history of Nepal, has is believed to have claimed nearly one third of the total population of Kathmandu. King Abahya Malla was one of them. Similarly, another mighty earthquake was recorded in 1260 during the reign of King Jayadev. It was also as destructive as the 1255 earthquake. There was a huge loss of life and an epidemic and famine after the earthquake. Many buildings and temples collapsed this time as well. The history of Nepal describes the destruction of the temple of Rato Matchendranath by the earthquake of 1408 when Shyam Singh was the King. Another earthquake of 1681 at the reign of King Sri Niwas Malla is also said to have been as devastating. In the months of June and July of 1767, an additional earthquake of significant intensity was recorded. There must have been many other devastating earthquakes in every century. But there are no written records. It is only the 1934 earthquake that has been addressed by a book, for which Major General Brahma Shamsher must be thanked.
According to Brahma Shamsher, the first shock of 1934 earthquake broke out on 16 January. It had been raining the days and nights before. The early morning brought with it heavy fogs, even though the sun shone at 60 degrees, and people were sitting in their gardens, rooftops, and streets, trying to feel its warmth. The celebration from yesterday’s makar samkranti, the Hindu festival marking the transition of the Sun into makar (capricorn)rashi on its celestial path, still clung in the air. Women had been fasting and performing various observances due to the aunsi the following Monday, while men worked in the fields. Government workers were busy in their offices, while the marketplace swarmed with villagers bringing in fresh produce to sell to city people. It was definitely a beautiful day.
Exactly at 2:24:22 pm, there was a strong rumbling in the ground as it began to shake; the infamous earthquake of 16 January 1934 was taking place. Like the waves of the water, the earth moved from the east to the west. In the second stage, the ground seemed to be twisting as houses and electricity poles collapsed. The tops of trees seemed to bend to meet the ground. The waters from ponds and buckets spilled, as if giant waves were at play. As if caused by the winds, the doors and windows of houses began to open and shut, if they were not collapsing with the sounds of firing tanks. Dust rose to obstruct what little sunlight there was.
People began running towards open spaces. Some stood still as they couldn’t find something to hold onto, while others crawled on all fours to get away. Some ran towards corners, and some ran to their gardens or fields. Mothers ran inside to retrieve their forgotten children, only to be killed by the crumbling buildings. Like trees cut down with axes, Dharahara and Ghantaghar both parted down the middle, breaking into large chunks. Nobody saw it coming. Despite the darkness from the dust, panic caused people, crying out to God to save them, to run for their lives. The mélange of these sounds created a panicked environment.
However, even the ones that ran were not guaranteed safety, as narrow gullies and smaller roads were very risky. Thousands died at the mercy of the collapsing buildings, thousands were wounded, and the soldiers training in Tundikhel laid face-down as they were unable to stand up. Water poured out from the nine to fifty meter cracks in the fields and roads, as rivers, including the Bagmati and Bishnumati, flooded, some reaching as high as seven to ten feet. In Balaju and Sankhamul, parts of roads caved in by a couple feet.

OMG !!! WATCH THE DANGEROUS GHOST FOUND IN RAMNAGAR FOREST

A ghost -- or spirit or apparition -- is the energy, soul or personality of a person who has died and has somehow gotten stuck between this plane of existence and the next. Most researchers believe that these spirits do not know they are dead. Very often they have died under traumatic, unusual or highly emotional circumstances.
Ghosts can be perceived by the living in a number of ways: through sight (apparitions), sound (voices), smell (fragrances and odors), touch -- and sometimes they can just be sensed.
When a person dies only his gross body (sthūladēha) ceases to exist. His subtle-body (consisting of the subconscious mind, intellect, ego and soul, i.e. minus the physical body) however continues to exist and moves on to the other regions of the universe. Refer to the picture below for more detailed view of what we are comprised of and what we leave behind after death.
ome of these subtle-bodies become ghosts. Ghosts by definition meet all of the following criteria:
  • They are subtle-bodies.
  • They belong to the Nether region (Bhuvarlok) or one of the seven regions of Hell (Pātāl) but they are found on Earth region (Bhūlok) too. This is because ghosts from the more subtle-regions of the universe can travel to the more gross ones like Earth at will.
[en-Fourteen lokas]
  • They do not exist in the positive planes of the universe i.e. Heaven (Swarga) and above.
  • They have unfulfilled desires such as cravings for sex, alcohol (things that they can only experience through a gross body), revenge etc.
  • They derive pleasure out of exerting control over and tormenting humans and other subtle-bodies. Their general aim is aligned with bringing about unrighteousness in society.
The subtle-body of a person after physical death is defined as a ghost if their characteristics and intentions match the above. There is no special process as such which they go through to become a ghost.

Archana Paneru now has been familiar name for all the people in Nepal, who wanted to become like Sunny Leone in professional life. Her desire to become porn star like Sunny Leone  at the age of 17 year old has sent clear message to all the people around the world that there is one of the future porn star in Nepal.
Archana Paneru
After announcing her desire, she may have got offers from people from western nation but only she and her family knows about it. But what she is doing at this age can not be justified that she has good character. Of course, she is characterless for me because her activities speaks itself. This is the outcome of her activities in social medias which shows she is characterless.
Before posting semi-nude photo on Facebook, nobody had known about her and only after posting those photos. she has been everywhere. Finally she had been brought to Police office to stop doing such activities. She agreed with Nepal Police’s order but she then started what her favorite was.
As a result of her so called activities,  she has been able to featured on Nepal’s one of the Weekly magazine ‘Saptahik’ which has been perhaps Saptahik’s most view content in digital field.
This time, she does not only post photos but also some videos too. The videos she is posting is really shameful and despite many people watched her video, nobody has good impression about her.Nepal has law on this issues and Nepal police have raided many dance bar, cabin restaurant for illegal activities but there is no eyes of Nepal police on Archana Paneru’s shocking videos.
In Nepal’s history, no any girl has done openly what Archana Paneru is doing at this moment. That’s why i think she is the one of the main vulgar girl of Nepal.

WATCH THE HOT SONG......

Up and down, to and fro, coo and crow baby, there you go. Up to the ceiling, down to the ground, backward and forward, round and round ... All babies love to be lifted, twirled and held in loving arms. Now a rhythmic poem by nineteenth century poet Anne Taylor makes a delightful board book perfect for baby and parent to share. Marjorie van Heerden has captured the energy and joy of this playful text in vivd pastel illustrations full of the soft, gentle motion of dance.

I continue to be impressed with Laura Dern's range. i've been a fan since Enightened, but I wasn't totally aware of how much range she has, how warm she can make her characters, how natural despite not necessarily playing them subtlety. She's an amazing actress, and this is actually one of her finest performances that I've seen. It's full of great pathos, great expressions that sort of tell you everything you need to know while not saying anything explicitly, Her character here could've come across as a caricature for most of the running time with a lesser actress, but Dern instantly makes her relatable and likable, and sort of empathetic towards her. That's a truly great mark
.PreSchool-While Mama is napping on the sofa, Father comforts his baby daughter and soon they are dancing and singing their way through this action poem. The little girl's hair ribbons gleefully soar as she goes "Up to the ceiling,/down to the ground/Backward, forward,/'round and 'round." Van Heerden's soft-focus artwork is animated and realistic. The red, orange, and yellow background hues radiate with the warmth of this African-American family, and the simple, catchy rhyme invites parent/child participation. A great addition to board-book collections.

From Kirkus Reviews

This abbreviated version of Taylor's poem,``The Baby Dance,'' drawing upon infants' universal love of song, weaves a few bouncing lines to make listeners wriggle. An African-American father croons to his baby daughter while engaging in a spontaneous and steadily more exuberant dance. ``Dance, little baby,/move to and fro/Coo and crow, baby,/there you go.'' Van Heerden's judicious use of background colors subtly reflect the increasing tempo, as soothing blues gradually intensify into vibrant swirls of orange, yellow, and purple. A boisterous romp.
